MEA Appoints Ambassadors to Norway, Bahrain and Botswana

Three Indian Foreign Service officers have been appointed as new ambassadors to different countries

The Ministry of External Affairs has announced the appointment of three officers as Ambassadors to Bahrain, Norway, and Botswana.

The officers are;

  1. Bharath Kumar Kuthati (IFS:2006) has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Botswana.
  2. Vinod K Jacob (IFS:2000), presently Deputy High Commissioner in the India High Commission in Sri Lanka, has been appointed as the next Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  3. Dr. Acquino Vimal (IFS:2000), presently Deputy Chief of Mission in the Embassy of India, Beijing, has been appointed as the next Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway.
