Senior diplomat Mr. Muktesh Kumar Pardeshi has been appointed as the new Secretary (CPV & OIA) in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
The officer will replace Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, an IFS officer from 1989 batch who will retire on September 30, 2023. He is currently posted as the Special Secretary of G20 Operations). Mr. Pardeshi, a master in his field brings great expertise to the new position, further strengthening India’s diplomatic efforts and international relations.
