Hyderabad: N. Nageswara Rao, an Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer of the 2003 batch from Andhra Pradesh, has been transferred from his current position as Chief Conservator of Forests (Working Plan) in the Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF).
He has now been appointed as the Special Secretary for the Environment, Forest, Science and Technology Department of Andhra Pradesh.
Rao’s transfer comes as part of a departmental reshuffle aimed at strengthening the state’s governance and enhancing its environmental management.
