Professional Background
Born on Dec 2, 1977, Mr Das, an IFS officer of the 2005 Assam-Meghalaya cadre, has been a distinguished member of the service since his entry on August 8, 2005, after securing the 17th rank in the 2004 UPSC IFS Examination.
Education
He holds a Master of Science degree from Delhi University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Forest Management from the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA), Dehradun, equipping him with both technical and managerial expertise in forestry administration.
