Mr. Ramu Abbagani, currently serving as Ambassador of India to the Dominican Republic, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to Brunei Darussalam.
A 2001-batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, Mr. Abbagani has held several key diplomatic positions in his career. His new assignment underscores India’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Brunei Darussalam. He is expected to take up his new role soon.
