New Delhi: Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) has announced the extension of tenure of Dr. Shyam Agrawal as an Independent Director of the company. The decision was approved by the Board of Directors through a resolution passed by circulation on December 5, 2025, following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The extension is effective for a period of one year, starting from December 6, 2025.

Dr. Shyam Agrawal is a highly accomplished professional with a PhD (Law), LL.M., LL.B., M.A. (Economics), and is a Fellow Company Secretary (FCS). With over 18 years of experience as a Practicing Company Secretary, he has held the prestigious positions of President and Vice-President of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
