Boosting Infrastructure and ‘Ease of Living’ in Bharuch

The ₹637 crore development package includes road upgradation projects worth ₹576 crore, along with new primary health centres, school classrooms, taluka sports complexes, and underground drainage infrastructure aimed at improving living conditions and public amenities across the district.

He praised the Digital India movement for its role in accelerating growth in IT and services, and projected that India is on a clear path toward becoming the world’s third-largest economy.

Bharuch in Emerging Surat Economic Region

The CM also announced that Bharuch has been included in the emerging Surat Economic Region, as identified by NITI Aayog. He shared that development in sectors like industry, tourism, infrastructure, and connectivity will receive special focus as part of this inclusion.

  • ‘Catch the Rain’ campaign
  • ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ tree-planting initiative
  • Swachhata Abhiyan
  • Obesity-Free India campaign
