New Delhi: India and Brazil have signed a major Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the postal sector, marking a new chapter in ties between the two countries.
The postal cooperation MoU was officially signed by India’s Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya M. Scindia and Brazil’s Minister of Communications Frederico de Siqueira Filho during the State Visit of Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to India.
This strategic agreement aims to modernise postal networks and enhance collaboration on postal services, digital transformation, logistics and financial inclusion, reflecting the growing partnership between India and Brazil in key service sectors.
