The competent authority has canceled the appointment of Mr. Akhil Chaudhary as Superintendent of Police (SP), Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) on central deputation. Additionally, he has been debarred from deputation and foreign assignments for a period of five years.
Mr. Chaudhary, a 2012-batch IPS officer of the Punjab cadre, will no longer assume the previously assigned role at BPR&D following this decision.
