IPS Akhilesvar Singh Appointed as DIG, SSB

2009 batch IPS officer Akhilesvar Singh of Odisha cadre has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Singh to the post on a deputation basis for a period of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
