Hanif Qureshi will continue to hold on the charge of director general renewable energy department
Earlier Inspector general, India Reserve Battalion, Bhondsi, and IG, Security, Saurabh Singh have been replaced by a 1996- batch IPS officer, Hanif Qureshi.
Qureshi has been appointed as the Panchkula commissioner of police. He will also continue to hold on to the charge of the Director-General Renewable Energy Department. Mentioning the qualification of the officer, apart from the degree in M.Tech and MBA, he also holds a Ph.D. in criminal justice from the University of Cincinnati, USA.
