The Jammu and Kashmir relieved 2008 batch IPS officer Abdul Jabbar of AGMUT cadre, Deputy Inspector General of Police, South Kashmir Range to enable him join in Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on deputation basis for five years.
2007 batch IPS officer Sujit Kumar of J&K cadre who is the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Central Kashmir Range, has been given the charge of DIG, South Kashmir Range, in addition to his own duties.
