Amidst a recent development, Mr. P V Ramasashtry (1989 batch), presently posted as the Special Director General in the BSF, was repatriated to his parent cadre in Uttar Pradesh. He has served in Gujarat Police, Uttar Pradesh Police and the Central Bureau of Investigation in various capacities. He also served for over a year as Director of the reputed CBI Academy where he pioneered inter-agency training cooperation. He was awarded meritorious police service medal from the Govt. of India in the year 2006.
