1989 batch IPS officer of Manipur cadre, Mr. Rahul Rasgotra, has been appointed as the New Director General (DG) of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
He was working as Special Director, Intelligence Bureau (IB). He will replace Mr. Anish Dayal Singh, an IPS officer of 1988 batch, who has been appointed as the DG of CRPF.
Mr. Rasgotra has been appointed to the post till September 30, 2025, i.e. the date of his superannuation, the order said.
