In a bureaucratic reshuffle in Punjab, the state government has transferred one Indian Police Service (IPS) and one Provincial Police Service (PPS) with immediate effect. The names are given below: –
IPS officer Ms. Simrat Kaur (2016 batch) has been transferred and posted as AIG Counter Intelligence Patiala and given additional charge of AIG, State Special Operation cell (SSOC), SAS Nagar.
PPS officer Mr. Jagbinder Singh was transferred and posted as additional deputy commissioner of police (ADCP-1), Ludhiana. Earlier he was serving as SP Investigation, Pathankot.
