In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in the police department in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Adityanath led state government has transferred and posted 18 IPS officers, including SPs of 11 districts on late Thursday night, 4 Jan, 2022.

2000 batch IPS officer and Kanpur Range IG, Mr. Prashant Kumar, has been made IG in Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Lucknow.

2007 batch IPS officer and Jhansi Range DIG, Mr. Jogendra Kumar, has been made IG of Kanpur Range.

While, Varanasi DIG Mr. Akhilesh Kumar Chaurasia, an IPS officer of 2009 batch, has been sent to Anti-Corruption Organisation.

2010 batch IPS officer and Aligarh SSP, Mr. Kalanidhi Naithani, has been made DIG of Jhansi range.

2010 batch IPS officer and Ballia SP, Mr. S. Anand, has been sent to STF as DIG.

IPS Officer Omprakash Singh has been made DIG of Varanasi range. He was posted as SP, Badaun. He is promotee officer (SPS to IPS).

2011 batch IPS officer Devranjan Verma, who was recently made SP Railway of Lucknow, has been made SP of Ballia.

Mr. Abhishek Singh, an IPS officer of 2011 batch, has been posted as SP of Muzaffarnagar. He was SP in ATS.

2014 batch IPS officer Sanjeev Suman has been given the responsibility of SP, Aligarh. he was posted as SP, Muzaffarnagar.

Chitrakoot SP and 2014 batch IPS officer Vrinda Shukla has been made the SP of Bahraich.

2015 batch IPS officer Aparna Rajat Kaushik has been made SP of Kasganj. She was posted in Lucknow Police Commissionerate.

2017 batch IPS officer and Siddharthnagar SP, Mr. Abhishek Kumar Aggarwal, has been given the responsibility of SP, Rae Bareli. While, Rae Bareli SP and promotee IPS officer Alok Priyadarshi has been made SP of Badaun.

2017 batch IPS officer Prachi Singh has been sent to Siddharthnagar as SP. She was posted in Shravasti as SP.

Kasganj SP and 2017 batch IPS officer Saurabh Dixit has been sent to Firozabad as SP.
