In another big administrative reshuffle in Police Department in Uttar Pradesh in less than 2 days, the Yogi Adityanath led state government has transferred and posted 67 IPS officers across the state.

1999 batch IPS officer Dr Sanjeev Gupta has been appointed as Additional DGP/Secretary, Home Department. He was Inspector General of Police/Secretary Home Department.

1999 batch IPS officer Ramit Sharma has been made Police Commissioner, Police Commissionerate, Prayagraj.

2006 batch IPS officer LR Kumar has been made the new Inspector General of Police, Law and Order.

2006 batch IPS officer Shalabh Mathur has been posted as Inspector General of Police, Aligarh Region.
