Mr Vijay Prakash has been given the charge of Inspector General , CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) for the period of five years. He is an IPS Officer of 1996 batch from Uttar Pradesh Cadre.
According to the order issued by Ministry of Home Affairs Mr Prakash is appointed on deputation basis from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders. Previously he was in the capacity of ADGP, Fire services, Headquarters, Lucknow Uttar Pradesh.
