IPS Officer Ashish Gupta Opts for Voluntary Retirement

Mr. Ashish Gupta, a 1989-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, currently serving as Director General (Rules & Manuals) in Uttar Pradesh, has applied for voluntary retirement from the service.

According to official sources, Mr. Gupta will retire from the IPS with effect from June 10, 2025, under the Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS).

Further administrative formalities are expected to be completed in due course.
