IPS officer Satish Golcha has been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police. He is an IPS officer of AGMUT cadre and 1992 batch and remains posted within the cadre. His promotion was announced by Ministry of Home Affairs after the approval of competent authority.
He is currently serving as special CP Intelligence, Delhi Police. He earlier served as Special Commissioner of Delhi Police, Southern Zone and Special Commissioner of Police, Crime and Economic Offences Wing, Delhi Police.
