Vipul Tripathi (IRAS:2008), recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Railways, has been appointed as the Director in the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Delhi, for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday, February 17, 2025, Mr. Tripathi will assume the post under the central staffing scheme, with his tenure starting from the date he takes charge or until further instructions are issued.
In other personnel news, the central deputation of Indian Forest Service Officer Rajeev Kumar (IOFS:2000), currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been extended for an additional year. As per the DoPT order, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the extension of Mr. Kumar’s tenure for one year beyond March 5, 2025, or until further orders, whichever comes first.
