IRCON International Limited, a prominent infrastructure development company under the Ministry of Railways, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Northeast Frontier Railway for two major projects worth approximately Rs 89 crore. The company announced the development in a regulatory filing to the stock exchange on Friday.
The projects involve outsourcing the maintenance and breakdown services of Traction Distribution (TRD) systems at 20 Overhead Equipment (OHE) depots located in the Tinsukia and Lumding Divisions of Northeast Frontier Railway. Both projects follow a cost-plus model and are classified as domestic contracts with no related party transactions.
