Ms. Aashwita Lal, a 2008-batch IRS (Income Tax) officer, has been appointed as Director in NITI Aayog, Delhi, for a period of five years. Her selection follows a recommendation for central deputation by the Department of Revenue.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on March 19, 2025, Ms. Lal will serve in the post under the central staffing scheme for a period of five years from the date she assumes charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
