Following a circular issued by the DoPT on May 30th, Ms. Ankit Singh (2011-batch IRS officer) was mandated to assume office as the Deputy Secretary (DS) in the Capacity Building Commission. Officer Singh’s appointment took place under the Central Staffing Scheme after the Department of Revenue recommended the same.
IRS Singh has been appointed for a term of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever transpires earlier.
