New Delhi: In a significant administrative move, the central government has appointed four officers, including three from the Indian Revenue Service (IRS-C&IT) and one from the Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS), as Senior Managers in the Tribal Co-operative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED). The appointments, made on deputation basis, will cover different regional offices across India under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
Officers Appointed and Regional Postings
The appointments are to non-CSS posts in TRIFED and are for varying tenures:
- Yogesh Pandurang (IRS-C&IT: 2014) – appointed as Senior Manager, TRIFED, Ahmedabad (Gujarat Region) for four years.
- Zainab Sayeed (IRS-C&IT: 2014) – appointed as Senior Manager, TRIFED, Kolkata (West Bengal Region) for four years.
- Harvinder Pal Singh (IRS-C&IT: 2015) – appointed as Senior Manager, TRIFED, Delhi (Delhi-NCR Region) for four years.
- Raj Kumar (IOFS: 2012) – appointed as Senior Manager, TRIFED, Ranchi (Bihar–Jharkhand Region) for five years.
These appointments are expected to strengthen TRIFED’s operations across the country, enhancing coordination between regional tribal markets and the central organization.
