IRS officer Sunil Kumar Singh has been empanelled and promoted to the grade of Chief Commissioner/ Director General of Customs and Indirect Taxes in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes). He is an IRS-C&IT officer of 1990 batch. An order in this regard has been issued by the CBIC on Wednesday. He has been promoted for the panel year 2023 with effect from 01.06.2023 or the date he assumes charge of the post.
Where as Navneet Goel has been empanelled and promoted to the grade of Principal Chief Commissioner/Principal Director General of Customs and Indirect Taxes in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes). He is an IRS-C&IT officer of 1989 batch.
