Following a circular issued by the DoPT, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Meena (2010 batch IRSS officer), the Deputy Secretary in the Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), was redesignated as the Director in the same organisation. He shall serve in this director rank until March 31, 2025, which can further be extended under the Central Staffing Scheme.
