New Delhi: Dr. Sudeepta Ghosh, an Indian Statistical Service (ISS) officer of the 2010 batch, has been appointed as the Director – Home Affairs in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme. Currently serving as the Director of the Social Statistics Division in the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, New Delhi, Dr. Ghosh’s appointment is a significant move as she transitions to central deputation.
Her tenure in the new position will extend until June 20, 2027, where she is expected to bring her expertise and leadership to the Ministry of Home Affairs. Dr. Ghosh’s experience and proficiency in statistical analysis and government operations are anticipated to enhance the Ministry’s operations.
