Ranchi: The Jharkhand Government, through the Jharkhand Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (JIIDCO), is set to launch the MSME Connect Portal, a one-stop digital platform designed to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the state.
One-Stop Platform for MSMEs
The portal will serve as a comprehensive database of all MSMEs in Jharkhand and will help businesses:
- Connect with each other and expand networks
- Access information on various government schemes and initiatives
- Enrol in training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules
Currently, the portal will support 15,36,918 registered MSMEs and Informal Micro Enterprises (IMEs) listed on the Udyam Portal of the Ministry of MSME.

AI-Powered Business Health Diagnostic Tool
A key feature of the portal is an AI-powered diagnostic tool, designed to assess the overall health of MSMEs.
Varun Ranjan, Managing Director of JIIDCO, explained:
“MSMEs often lack resources to hire consultants. This tool will democratize consultancy by helping businesses assess finances, raw material sourcing, operating margins, marketing, packaging, branding, and more. It will highlight gaps compared to peers and provide actionable solutions.”
Virtual Buyer-Seller Connect and E-Learning
The portal will also facilitate:
- Connection between manufacturers and suppliers
- Virtual buyer-seller meetings to promote business opportunities
- E-learning modules to enhance business management knowledge among MSMEs
Phased Rollout Schedule
The MSME Connect Portal will be implemented in three phases:
- Phase 1 (by end of February): MSME registration, scheme details, and virtual buyer-seller meetings
- Phase 2 (by April 15): Introduction of the business health diagnostic tool
- Phase 3 (by end of May): WhatsApp governance for easy access to portal services via WhatsApp
