Three Indian Police Service (IPS) officers of Jammu & Kashmir have been deputed to the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, National Police Academy, Hyderabad to undergo 23rd Phase-Ill Mid-Career Training Programme (MCTP). As per an order issued by Additional Chief Secretary Home, Raj Kumar Goyal, the officer will take part in the training that is scheduled to be held from February 12, 2024 to March 8, 2024.
The officers are Dr. Mohd Haseeb Mughal, Sanjeev Kumar Yadav and Anuj Kumar. Mr. Yadav, who has also served as Divisional Commandant, Home Guards, is 11 times winner of President’s Police Medal for Gallantry.
Dr. Mughal has served as SSP, Srinagar and as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police in Rajouri- Poonch range. Mr. Kumar is of AGMUT cadre and 2016 batch and is serving as Superintendent of Police (SP), Special Crime Wing, Jammu.
