1993 batch IPS officer Dr. K Ramachandra Rao of Karnataka cadre has received a promotion to the position of Director General of Police (DGP) as per the official order issued by the state government on Saturday.
Currently, Dr. Ramachandra Rao holds the role of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and serves as the Managing Director (MD) at the Karnataka State Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd.
