The Kerala government has announced key administrative changes, appointing senior IAS officers to take on additional responsibilities.
Mohammed Hanish APM IAS, currently serving as the Principal Secretary of the Industries Department, has been given the additional charge of the Sports and Youth Affairs Department. Hanish, a 1996-batch officer of the Kerala cadre, will now oversee both the industrial and sports sectors in the state.
Meanwhile, K.S. Srinivas IAS, a 1997-batch officer of the Kerala cadre and currently serving as the Principal Secretary of the Fisheries Department, has been entrusted with additional responsibilities. Srinivas will now also oversee the Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Museum (Zoo) Departments.
These appointments are part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to streamline administration and strengthen the management of key departments.
