Ms. Sheela Dahima, a 2015-batch IAS officer from the Madhya Pradesh cadre and a native of Sardar Singh Ki Dhani near Kishangarh, has been honoured with the Chief Minister’s Excellence Award for the year 2022–23. The award was presented by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.

On this occasion, Ms. Dahima received a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh and a certificate of appreciation. The award, conferred in six categories, was given to 14 administrative officers across the state for their outstanding contributions to innovation and public service.
Currently serving as the Additional Secretary at the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, Ms. Dahima earned recognition for her unique initiative to support board exam students. As part of her innovation, she created motivational videos specifically aimed at helping students prepare for their exams. These videos, shared via YouTube and the board’s official website, not only boosted the students’ confidence but also helped ease their exam-related stress.
Ms. Dahima is also a popular motivational YouTuber, known for spreading awareness and social messages through songs and her soothing voice. Her content has especially gained popularity among the youth.
She is the daughter of retired IAS officer Mr. Maan Dahima, and has carried forward her family’s legacy by establishing a distinct identity in administrative service. Her achievement has brought pride to her hometown and has demonstrated how administrative responsibilities can be fulfilled with innovation and sensitivity. Locals view her award as an inspiration for every young individual aspiring to bring about positive change in society.
