On May 22nd, the government of Kerala carried out a major administrative reshuffle in the senior ranks of the state bureaucracy. Mr. APM Mohammad Haneesh (1996 batch IAS officer), the incumbent Secretary in the Health Department, was mandated to assume office as the Principal Secretary in the Department of Industries.
Mr. Rajan Khobragade (1993-batch IAS officer), the Chairman of the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB), was reposted as the Additional Secretary in the Health Department, while Mr. Biju Prabhakar (2004-batch IAS officer) replaced Officer Khobragade as the new KSEB Chairman. Dr. K Vasuki (2008 batch IAS officer), in charge of the skill development department as Secretary, was given additional charge as Secretary of NORKA, after the incumbent NORKA Secretary, Dr. Suman Billa (1996 batch IAS officer) got recalled by the union government.
