Manohar Lal Lays Foundation Stone for 1000-Seater Auditorium in Siddharthnagar, Backed by REC’s Rs 7.02 Cr CSR Grant

Siddharthnagar, UP: In a significant boost to the cultural infrastructure of Siddharthnagar district, Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal, laid the foundation stone for a state-of-the-art 1000-seater Community Auditorium on Friday. The ambitious project is being funded through the CSR initiatives of REC Limited, in partnership with PFC and NTPC.

REC Commits ₹7.02 Crore Through CSR Initiative
REC Limited, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) under the Ministry of Power, is contributing ₹7.02 crore for the auditorium’s development under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The investment highlights REC’s commitment to community development and inclusive cultural growth in rural and semi-urban India.

Ceremony Attended by Local Leaders and REC Officials
The foundation stone-laying event was graced by the presence of REC’s Executive Director (CSR) and other senior officials from REC, PFC, and NTPC. Local residents turned out in large numbers, expressing optimism that the auditorium would transform the cultural and social landscape of the region.

A Modern Cultural Hub for Siddharthnagar
Designed as a multi-purpose facility, the upcoming 1000-seater auditorium aims to provide a modern platform for

The project is expected to be completed within a stipulated timeline, ensuring prompt access to a modern, inclusive space for the people of Siddharthnagar.
