The company’s dedication to transparency, efficient operations, and environmental stewardship was recognized at the prestigious event attended by senior officials and ministers.

MCL Wins Special Recognition under Special Campaign 5.0

One of the key highlights of the meeting was MCL’s receipt of Special Recognition under Special Campaign 5.0. This award was presented in acknowledgment of the company’s dedicated efforts to improve cleanliness and public awareness across its operational areas. MCL was praised for its initiatives focused on workplace cleanliness, digital record management, and its extensive outreach programs aimed at improving the efficiency of public service delivery. The Special Campaign 5.0 focused on ensuring the timely disposal of pending matters, enhancing transparency, and reinforcing public engagement.

Third Prize for Swachhata Pakhwada

In addition to the Special Recognition, MCL also secured the 3rd Prize for Swachhata Pakhwada, a government-led cleanliness initiative. MCL’s extensive involvement in the Swachhata Pakhwada included several impactful actions, such as mass plantation drives, sanitation activities, school awareness programs, and community mobilization efforts that were conducted during the fortnight-long cleanliness campaign held earlier this year. These initiatives have had a significant impact on local communities, creating awareness about hygiene, sanitation, and environmental sustainability.

Awards Presented by Union Ministers

The awards were presented at the review meeting in New Delhi, which was graced by Union Minister of Coal & Mines G Kishan Reddy and Minister of State for Coal & Mines Satish Chandra Dubey. MCL’s Chairman and Managing Director, Uday Anant Kaole, received the accolades on behalf of the company, in the presence of several senior officials from the Ministry of Coal and MCL.
