The Meghalaya government has assigned new roles to four retired IAS officers in various councils. The officers are Prashant Naik, Hector Marwein, Ram Mohan Mishra and P Kharkongor.
Mr. Naik has been appointed as the Senior Advisor for Sustainable Mobility within Meghalaya Integrated Transport Project. His tenure will be till 5 May, 2024. Whereas, Mr. Kharkongor has been posted as Senior Advisor to Agro-Logistics under MITP till 30 June 2024.
Mr. Marwein has been posted as Chairman, Meghalaya Sustainable Development Council till a period of two years. And, Mr. Mishra has been appointed as Executive Chairman of Meghalaya State Investment Promotion Board.
