These strategic appointments are aimed at enhancing leadership in key sectors such as technology, finance, and business development within the country’s public sector.
- Vikram Saxena Appointed Director (Technology & Field Services) at ONGC
Vikram Saxena, who is currently serving as the Group General Manager at Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), has been appointed as the Director (Technology & Field Services). Saxena will serve in this role until his retirement on July 31, 2027, or until further orders. His appointment follows the recommendation of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on December 2, after an extensive interview process involving 10 candidates. His appointment is expected to strengthen ONGC’s technological initiatives and field operations. - Ruchir Agrawal Appointed Director (Finance) at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited
Ruchir Agrawal, an Executive Director at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), has been named the Director (Finance) at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDSL). Agrawal will hold this position for a term of five years or until further orders, whichever comes first. Gupta’s appointment, which comes after the PESB’s recommendation on September 5, 2024, follows a rigorous selection process and aims to bolster NFL’s technical expertise and innovation in the fertilizer sector.
