MP CM Mohan Yadav Unveils ₹162 Crore Development Projects in Teonthar: Industrial Complex, River Corridor, Biogas Plant Among Key Announcements

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Friday launched a series of ambitious development projects worth ₹162 crore in Tyonthar, located in Rewa district, as part of the state’s ongoing “Vindhya Vikas Sankalp” campaign. The CM laid the foundation stones for major infrastructure, industrial, healthcare, and environmental initiatives aimed at boosting the region’s economic and social growth.

400-Acre Industrial Complex and ₹125 Cr Biogas Plant Announced

Chief Minister Yadav announced the development of a new industrial complex spread across 400 acres in Tyonthar, aimed at attracting investment, generating employment, and boosting regional industrial output.

Additionally, he performed the groundbreaking ceremony of a ₹125 crore compressed biogas plant by IOCGPS Renewable Private Limited. The plant is expected to not only generate clean energy but also increase farmers’ income by purchasing agricultural waste like straw.

Infrastructure Boost: River Corridor and Hospital Expansion

Highlighting environmental and urban development, Dr. Yadav declared the construction of a river corridor along the Tamas River. The project is envisioned to improve ecological balance and promote sustainable tourism in the region.

Further, the Tyonthar Civil Hospital will be expanded from 50 beds to 100 beds, significantly enhancing healthcare services for the local population. A new Industrial Training Institute (ITI) will also be established in Tyonthar to improve vocational training and job readiness.

Support for Accident Victims and Welfare Initiatives

During the event, CM Yadav announced financial assistance of ₹4 lakh to the family of Ms. Leena Verma, who died in a road accident in Sidhi district. He reiterated the government’s commitment to support victims and families through schemes like the “Rahveer Yojana” and the launch of air ambulance services for road accident emergencies.

Education, Agriculture, and Women’s Empowerment Highlighted

Dr. Yadav emphasized the state’s dedication to education and skill development, with new Sandipani schools being established, and increased support for milk production and orchard development under schemes like:

“Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam”: ₹3 lakh grants to women’s self-help groups for orchard development

Dr. Ambedkar Kamdhenu Scheme: ₹10 lakh for purchase of 25 cows to boost dairy farming

Women welfare was also a key focus. After the successful ₹1,500 Rakshabandhan gift to women, the CM announced that monthly ₹1,500 assistance would begin from Bhai Dooj post-Diwali.

Tribute to Legacy, Cultural Development

CM Yadav paid homage to the late Srinivas Tiwari, a former Assembly Speaker, and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to cultural and spiritual development. He mentioned ongoing efforts to develop Ram Van Gaman Path, Geeta Bhavans in cities, and pilgrimage sites associated with Lord Krishna and Lord Rama.

Local Leaders Praise Development Push

Rewa MP Janardan Mishra applauded the state government for granting development projects worth ₹162 crore, including the ₹28 crore Chillawala Bridge and 39 other bridges enhancing rural and urban connectivity.

Tyonthar MLA Siddharth Tiwari emphasized that within just 11 months of Dr. Yadav taking office, the first plant in the Vindhya region is now being established. He highlighted additional ₹2 crore assistance for local municipalities and appreciated the rapid pace of development under Dr. Yadav’s leadership.

Vindhya Region: Poised to Become Energy and Industry Hub

Dr. Yadav concluded his address by stating that the Vindhya region, already a leader in renewable energy and solar power generation, will soon become a major industrial and energy hub of the nation.

He emphasized, “This is just the beginning. Our double-engine government is committed to ensuring growth, employment, and development for every citizen.”
