UPSC CAPF 2025 Written Result Declared; Bhargavsinh Solanki Tops, 1,826 Candidates Qualify

A total of 1,826 candidates have qualified in the written examination and will proceed to the next stage.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant (AC) Result 2025 on its website. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their results at upsc.gov.in.

A total of 1,826 candidates have qualified in the written examination and will proceed to the next stage – the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

UPSC CAPF Result 2025 Declared

The UPSC has released the results of the written examination for recruitment to the post of Assistant Commandants in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). The result is available in PDF format containing the roll numbers and names of qualified candidates.

The candidature of all qualified candidates is provisional, subject to verification of eligibility criteria at later stages.

Written Exam Details

The written examination for CAPF (AC) 2025 was conducted on August 3, 2025, and the results were declared on October 10, 2025. Based on performance in this stage, 1,826 candidates have been shortlisted for the next phase of the selection process.

Next Stage: PST and PET

Qualified candidates will now appear for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has been designated as the nodal agency to conduct these tests.
Details regarding date, time, and venue will be released on the official website: recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.

Candidates will also receive updates via their registered email IDs.

E-Admit Card Details

  • E-admit cards for PST/PET will be issued online through the ITBP recruitment portal.
  • Candidates must download and carry the admit card to the examination center.

Important Instructions for Qualified Candidates

UPSC has issued key guidelines for candidates who have qualified

  • A 15-day window has been provided to update details on the online portal.
  • Candidates must upload proof of passing the required educational qualification.
  • Failure to submit required details may lead to cancellation of candidature.

Candidates must update:

  • Educational qualification status
  • Correspondence and permanent address
  • Higher qualifications
  • Achievements (if any)
  • Employment/service experience
  • Previous CAPF allocation (if applicable)
  • Preference of forces

Documents Required for PST/PET

Candidates must carry the following documents:

  • E-admit card
  • Hard copy of submitted Detailed Application Form (DAF)
  • Valid photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Driving License, etc.

Candidates claiming reservation (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) must produce original certificates issued before March 25, 2025.

Candidates can follow these steps

  • Visit the official website at upsc.gov.in
  • Click on the “UPSC CAPF Result 2025” link on the homepage
  • Open the PDF file
  • Search your roll number/name
  • Download and print for future reference

For Non-Qualified Candidates

Candidates who did not qualify can check their mark sheets, which will be available on the UPSC website for 30 days after the final result declaration (post Personality Test).
