Rewa: The Rewa Regional Tourism Conclave held in Rewa district witnessed a landmark announcement of investment proposals exceeding ₹3,000 crore, signaling a new era of growth for tourism in the Vindhya region. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, addressing the conclave at Krishna Raj Kapoor Auditorium, engaged in one-on-one discussions with key investors, while actor Mukesh Tiwari and actress Sanvika graced the event with their presence.
Prime Minister Modi’s Vision Driving Development
CM Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the ongoing development momentum under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, highlighting the government’s focused efforts to transform the state’s economy. He recalled that the region recently witnessed proposals worth ₹31,000 crore during earlier conclaves, with investment offers of ₹30 lakh crore under GIS initiatives and employment opportunities opening for 21 lakh people.
“The tourism sector is akin to an industry where thousands of youth find employment. We welcome investors to contribute to this vibrant sector,” said Dr. Yadav, underscoring Madhya Pradesh’s fastest growth in tourism, especially religious tourism.

Significant Investment Commitments from Major Players
The conclave saw major investors pledge substantial financial commitments:
- Ram Ola, Managing Director of Flyola, proposed the largest investment of ₹700 crore for large-scale tourism projects.
- Divyansh Singh Baghel of RCRCPPL and Vindhya Pride announced ₹500 crore.
- Amit Digvijay Singh also committed ₹500 crore.
- Ajit Sandadiya, Managing Director of Sandadiya Builders, expressed intent for ₹300 crore.
Other notable investors included:
- Gajendra Singh Rathore (Jungle Camp India) – ₹150 crore,
- Gaurav Pratap Singh and Pushpraj Singh – ₹100 crore each,
- Manavendra Singh Shekhawat (Rajasthan Fort and Palace) – ₹100 crore for heritage development,
- Anuj and Vijay Tiwari (Eco Park) – ₹80 crore,
- Anil Agarwal (Tathastu Resorts) – ₹150 crore,
- Siddharth Singh Tomar – ₹15 crore,
- Vaibhav Singh Kaurav (Siddhivinayak Construction) – ₹10 crore,
- Kailash Fulwani – ₹5 crore.
Government’s Efforts to Boost Tourism Infrastructure and Employment
The state government has undertaken significant projects to enhance the Vindhya region’s tourism potential. This includes development at Amarkantak with a ₹50 crore Prasad scheme involving ghats, bridges, and other amenities, alongside projects in religious hubs like Chitrakoot and Maihar.
Additionally, the establishment of food craft institutes in Shahdol and Rewa aims to skill local youth in hospitality, offering diploma courses and free government-run training programs to promote employment.
Welcoming Investors with Transparent Policies
Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya reiterated Madhya Pradesh’s investor-friendly approach and stressed the importance of investor collaboration to realize the vision of a stronger India by 2047. Tourism and Culture Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi praised the state’s film-tourism policy and emphasized the government’s commitment to developing the Vindhya-Nimar-Bundelkhand regions.
The state’s tourism policy 2025 offers streamlined approvals, online portals, and capital subsidies. Investors committing over ₹100 crore can receive land allocation for up to 90 years, accelerating project implementation.

New Initiatives to Promote Tourism
- PM Tourism Air Service: Launched on June 13, 2024, this service operates twin-engine aircraft connecting Bhopal, Indore, Satna, Rewa, and Singrauli, with booking now available on IRCTC alongside Flyola’s website.
- Home Stay Online Booking Portal: Integrates rural homestays into major OTA platforms like MakeMyTrip and EaseMyTrip, digitally empowering local entrepreneurs and enhancing rural incomes.
- Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs): Agreements were signed with organizations to promote local arts, crafts, and heritage conservation, further strengthening the tourism ecosystem.
