Odisha: In a major step to enhance digital infrastructure, National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) inaugurated a BSNL Base Transceiver Station (BTS) equipped with Swadeshi 4G technology at its Alumina Refinery, M&R Complex, Koraput, Odisha. The move aims to improve mobile connectivity for employees and nearby communities.
Inauguration of State-of-the-Art BTS
The inauguration was led by Mr. Amarendra Kumar Mishra, Executive Director (M&R), NALCO, in the presence of CGM (BSNL) Odisha and senior officials from both NALCO and BSNL. The newly installed BTS is expected to:
- Strengthen mobile connectivity across the refinery premises
- Improve network access for local communities
- Enable seamless communication and digital engagement
