NBCC Awards Rs 193 Crore EPC Project to Globe Civil Projects Ltd for Central University of Punjab

New Delhi: Globe Civil Projects Ltd has secured a significant contract from NBCC (India) Ltd, receiving a Letter of Award (LoA) for the construction of key infrastructure facilities at the Central University of Punjab, located in Ghudda village, Bathinda district, Punjab.

The contract, valued at ₹193.13 crore, involves design and construction on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) basis and includes multiple academic and residential buildings, along with campus development work. The project is expected to be completed within 21 months.

Key Components of the Project

The infrastructure development includes:

  • Academic Block
  • 400-seater Girls’ Hostel
  • 600-seater Boys’ Hostel
  • 100-seater International Students’ Hostel
  • Vice Chancellor’s Residence
  • External and Campus Development Works

This project marks a strategic infrastructure boost for the Central University, aimed at enhancing student accommodation, academic facilities, and overall campus quality.

Strengthening Public-Private Collaboration

The award reinforces NBCC’s role in driving public infrastructure development through partnerships with reputed EPC firms. For Globe Civil Projects Ltd, this LoA represents a major milestone, especially following its recent IPO and entry into the public market.

The partnership demonstrates a shared commitment to timely and high-quality execution of government-backed institutional projects.
