New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna PSU, has been awarded a significant project worth approximately Rs 264.16 crore for providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra, Haryana. The project will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode.
The scope of the project includes the construction of multiple buildings at NIT Kurukshetra, such as an academic block, hostel block, residential block, director’s residence, as well as the vertical extension of existing hostels and academic buildings. The project will also include various external development works to enhance the campus infrastructure.
NBCC, a leading public sector enterprise engaged in project management, real estate, and engineering consultancy services, stated that the award of this contract falls within its routine course of business. This marks another important milestone for the company as it continues to contribute to the development of India’s education infrastructure.
The successful execution of this project at NIT Kurukshetra will play a key role in strengthening the institute’s physical infrastructure, improving educational facilities, and supporting the growth of higher education in the region.
