NBCC (India) Ltd Bags Rs102.97 Crore Work Order from Lokpal of India for Infrastructure Upgradation

Fresh Contract Supersedes Earlier ₹25.38 Crore Order, Covers Retrofitting and Interior Fit-Out Works

New Delhi: In a significant boost to its project portfolio, NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, has secured a fresh work order worth ₹102.97 crore from the Lokpal of India. The contract pertains to comprehensive infrastructure development and retrofitting of office facilities located in Vasant Kunj Institutional Area, Phase-II, New Delhi.

Order Finalized on August 1, Replaces Previous Assignment

According to a regulatory filing by NBCC, the agreement was formalized on August 1, 2025, and supersedes an earlier order worth ₹25.38 crore issued on January 5, 2024. The revision was made due to technical reasons and a re-evaluation of the project scope.

Scope Includes Retrofitting, Repairs, and Interior Upgrades

Under the new agreement, NBCC will carry out repairing, retrofitting, interior fit-out works, and upgradation of building infrastructure and related services. These tasks fall within NBCC’s core expertise in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) and will be executed for the Lokpal’s official premises.

The awarded work is considered part of NBCC’s regular business operations, particularly under its PMC services. The contract has been awarded by a domestic government entity, and there is no related party interest involved, according to the company’s filing.

NBCC continues to strengthen its role as a reliable executing agency for government and institutional infrastructure projects. This latest project from the Lokpal of India reaffirms the company’s position in handling critical and high-value government assignments, particularly those requiring precision retrofitting and modern infrastructure solutions.
