The board of the PSU NBCC (Limited), which is the centre’s flagship project management consultancy (PMC) and real estate company, has recently announced that it shall issue bonus shares in a ratio of 1:2 to eligible shareholders and the company by utilising Rs 90 crore free reserve for this purpose. However, it is subject to the shareholders’ approval in the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.
In a regulatory filing, the PSU authorities stated, “The Board of Directors has recommended the issuance of bonus shares to the shareholders of the company in the ratio of 1:2 i.e. one new fully paid-up equity share of Rs 1 each for every two existing shares to the eligible members as on the record Date.“
The PSU’s Board has fixed October 7th, 2024 as the record date to determine the eligibility of members to receive bonus shares.
