NBCC Organises ‘Skill Shakti’ Workshop on Waste Management and Sustainability Under Project Prakriya

New Delhi: State-owned infrastructure major NBCC (India) Limited organised a one-day workshop titled ‘NBCC Skill Shakti’ on Waste Management and Sustainability at its Training & Skill Development Centre in Ghitorni on Monday. The event was held under NBCC’s flagship initiative, Project Prakriya, and aimed to enhance awareness and practical understanding of sustainable development practices among the company’s workforce and partner ecosystem.

Focus on Responsible Waste Management and Sustainability

The workshop featured interactive sessions, expert-led discussions, and practical demonstrations, emphasizing the significance of responsible waste handling, resource conservation, and long-term environmental sustainability in infrastructure projects. Participants gained insights into integrating green practices into everyday operations and project management, highlighting the role of sustainability in modern infrastructure development.

Through this initiative, NBCC reinforced its commitment to eco-friendly construction practices and aligning its operational strategies with both national sustainability goals and global environmental priorities.
