NBCC Bags ₹134 Crore Orders in Odisha for University Renovation and School Infrastructure Projects

New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited has received fresh work orders worth ₹134.05 crore in Odisha, giving a strong start to its order book for 2026. The projects, awarded under government initiatives, focus on educational infrastructure development, including university renovation and primary school construction.

Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University Renovation

Out of the total work orders, ₹45.87 crore has been awarded for construction, repair, and renovation activities at Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University in Baripada, Mayurbhanj. This project comes under the PM-USHA scheme, aimed at upgrading university facilities and creating a modern academic environment for students and faculty.

School Infrastructure Development under Godabarisha Mishra Scheme

The remaining ₹88.18 crore order involves civil works under the Godabarisha Mishra Adarsha Prathamika Vidyalaya Scheme, awarded by the Odisha School Programme Authority, Bhubaneswar. This project includes the construction and enhancement of school infrastructure to support quality education for primary students across the state.

Focus on Government-Led Educational Infrastructure

NBCC clarified that these contracts have been received from domestic government entities, with no promoter or group company interest involved. The company also stated that these transactions do not constitute related-party dealings. This development reinforces NBCC’s growing role in executing government-led infrastructure projects, particularly in the education sector, strengthening the company’s pipeline of ongoing and upcoming projects.
