Top Bureaucrats in the Running
Manoj Yadava (Retd IPS: 1988: HY), who recently took over as Director General of Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), is still on the panel for appointment to the NCDRC.
Sumita Dawra (Retd IAS: 1991: AP), who previously served as the Union Labour Secretary, is also being considered for the role.
The final decision is yet to be made, creating ongoing speculation in bureaucratic circles.
Current Composition of the NCDRC
The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) currently has nine members, with Justice Amreshwar Pratap Sahi serving as the President of the Commission.
