Patna, Bihar: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Bihar following the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) resounding victory in the 2025 Bihar Legislative Assembly elections. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Kumar acknowledged the trust and support shown by the electorate, which he said would propel Bihar toward greater development and inclusion among India’s most advanced states.

Nitish Kumar Expresses Gratitude to Voters

In his message, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar stated: “In the Bihar Legislative Assembly elections-2025, the people of the state have given us an overwhelming majority, demonstrating their faith in our government. I bow to all the respected voters and express my heartfelt gratitude and thanks.”

Kumar emphasized that the NDA’s unity played a pivotal role in securing this decisive mandate and assured citizens that their support would be leveraged to accelerate Bihar’s progress.

Acknowledging Support from Prime Minister and NDA Leaders

Nitish Kumar also extended special thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his guidance and support throughout the election campaign. He wrote, “I bow to and express my heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the cooperation and support extended by him.”

Further, he acknowledged the contributions of key NDA allies, including Chirag Paswan, Jitan Ram Manjhi, and Upendra Kushwaha, for their collaboration in achieving the overwhelming mandate.

Focus on Bihar’s Future Development

The Chief Minister reiterated that with continued public support, Bihar would progress steadily and emerge as one of India’s most developed states. “With everyone’s cooperation, Bihar will move forward and become one of the most developed states in the country,” he said.

Nitish Kumar, a veteran politician and leader of the Janata Dal (United), has served multiple terms as the Chief Minister of Bihar. Known for his emphasis on governance, infrastructure development, and social welfare initiatives, Kumar has played a significant role in shaping the state’s development trajectory over the past decades.
